A Berry Yummy Parfait

This reminds me of the parfaits at Chickfila which might be why I love it so much:) It’s delicious and has way less calories, fat & sugar than Chickfila’s version!

Ingredients:

4oz Plain Greek Yogurt
1 Tbsp Vanilla Whey Protein
20 Almonds
1/3 Cup Berries of choice (I chose Strawberries!)

Directions:

Measure out 4oz of yogurt in a bowl. Then add the protein powder and mix until it is blended together evenly. Next add your berries. If you choose strawberries, I like to cut them into smaller pieces so that I get a little bit in each bite:) Next, place almonds in a baggie and crush. I actually use a hammer (because it’s fun) However you can use what ever method you prefer. Be careful not to crush into a powder (although my husband did that and it still taste good) I just think it’s a little better with a crunch:) Also, If you prefer the Chickfila parfait with cookies instead of granola try using Cocoa Almonds! They are absolutely delicious and you will hardly tell a difference!!

Raspberry Brownies

The protein brownies were such a hit that we decided to play around just a little bit more to see what we could come up with! And this is what we created…They are even better (if that’s possible) than the first ones!
 
Ingredients: 
  • 2 Scoops Protein Powder
  • 2 tbsp Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
  • 4 Egg Whites
  • 1/2 C Stevia
  • 3 Tbsp Cocnut Oil (melted)
  • 4 Tbsp of Raspberry Sugar-free Jelly

Directions:

Mix all ingredients in a bowl. Place in microwave on high and cook for 2-4 minutes.

Chocolate Cherry Pie

If you haven’t noticed we are obsessed with chocolate AND throwing stuff in a bowl and stirring:) We LOVE to make healthy eating simple!! Most people think health food is boring and time consuming, but it’s NOT!! It’s super easy and can be just as yummy as some of your favorite dishes. Dont belive us? Try this…

Ingredients:
 
For the Crust
  • 2 C Gluten-Free Baking Mix (Greenwise section of Publix)
  • 1/2 C Best Life Spread
  • 1/2 C Stevia
  • 6-8 Tbsp Water
 
For the Filling:
  • 1/2 Package Fat-Free Cream Cheese or Neufchatel 1/3 less fat
  • 1/2 Container Sugar-Free Cool Whip
  • 1/4 C Best Life Spread
  • 1/2 C Stevia
  • 1/2 Jar Sugar-Free Cherry Jam
  • 2 Tbsp Cocoa Powder
  • 1 Small Package Sugar-Free, Fat-Free Cheesecake Pudding Mix

Directions:

For the crust, just follow the directions on the package;) For the filling mix it all in a bowl with a hand mixer and poor on top of cooled pie crust. This dish can be served hot or cold!

Chocolate Oatmeal Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 1 tbs Cocoa powder (unsweetened)
  • 1-1 1/2 C Whole Rolled Oats
  • 1/2 C Coconut Oil (warmed)
  • 2 Eggs (or 4 Egg Whites)
  • 3/4 C Splenda
  • 2 Scoops chocolate protein powder

Directions:

We like to mix it all up and use a microwave because, well, who wants to wait for cookies to cook??  Nuke them for 1-2 minutes and enjoy!

Makes 16 servings

Sweet Potato Cake

The holiday season is here! This is often when people throw fitness out the window and gorge themselves, starting at Thanksgiving and continuing all the way through the end of the year! (I know, because I too have been guilty of this in years past).  New year’s resolutions are 10x easier if you get a head start and make healthy choices now;) We’ve put together some delicious holiday recipes that will help you reach your goals AND still enjoy the yummy foods we all look forward to this time of year! Enjoy!

Ingredients:

  • 1 Large Sweet Potato
  • 1/2 Cup Coconut Oil
  • 1 Cup splenda
  • 2 Scoops Protein Powder (any flavor)
  • 2 Tbsp Sugar-Free Vanilla Syrup
  • 4 Egg Whites

Directions:

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sweet potato in the microwave till it is soft. Let cool, then peel skin off sweet potato. Place peeled sweet potato in a mixing bowl. Add oil, splenda, protein powder, vanilla syrup, and egg whites. Mix all ingredients untill it is smooth and well mixed. (We suggest using an electircal hand mixer) Grease an 8×8 pan and pour potato mix into pan. Cook for 25-30 minutes.

Peanut Butter Chocolate Brownies

Eat all the brownies you want!! This is the dessert you’ve been searching for all your life. A healthy alternative to the sweets that you crave! These brownies are quick N easy and much healthier than ice cream, cake, or candy! Like always, let us know what you think.
